22 May Key Stage 1 enjoy Outdoor Learning!
Key Stage 1 had a lovely time last week in the sunshine with Mr H!
Mr H brought some tents with him and the children enjoyed helping pitch the tents, before enjoying some calming time inside, sheltering from the sun.
Mr H built a map of the school using natural resources, such as twigs and stones. The children then built their own birds eye view/3D map of the school with their own natural resources.
The wonderful afternoon was then completed by toasting marshmallows on the fire! Delicious!
We love outdoor learning at Riverside Primary Academy.
