12 May Key Stage 1 River walk
Key Stage 1 enjoyed a lovely sunny walk along the river this week to look at our local area.
We had planned our route in our ICT lessons using digi maps and then we wrote the directions for the route we would take including the street names and places.
We followed our route and along the way we looked at both the human and physical features of the local area. While we were walking, we also discussed what we liked and disliked about the local area. We loved the flowers and nature but we did not like the rubbish and graffiti!
In our next Geography lesson we will be creating a birds eye view map with a key of the river and area around it to show what we saw on our walk.
