03 Mar World Book Day!
The children have had an absolutely AMAZING day celebrating World Book Day at school!
They started their day with an assembly by Mrs Knott and talked about why Reading is important, not only for school but also for pleasure at home!
The children then took part in book swaps throughout the day and lots of wonderful World Book Day Reading activities including online lessons and learning how to draw like an illustrator!
Key Stage 2 classes came down to Key Stage 1 to read with the younger children and share their love of Reading and stories together!
All children received their £1 book token to take home and spend on a wonderful book of their choice!
